For favors, I decided to get the Godiva two piece chocolate box with white box and ribbon and a personalized tag on the ribbon. But the vendor who is ordering them for me suggested that I get one per couple, not per guest. Is this tacky? It's just a two-piece truffle box, not a giant box of candy. I guess she is trying to keep down our cost since they are $4.50 each, but I have never heard of one favor per couple. What do you guys think?
Re: Favor per person or per couple?
Say I have 4 couples and 2 singles at a table. So there are 6 boxes there. What if some of the couples don't realize it's one per couple and take one each? Then some people might not even get a favor at all (even to share).
The vendor says you can do a set up with the escort cards but even that seems risky. I could see people just grabbing them indiscriminately.
