Someone please help!

Hey everyone, i'm not sure if this is an ok place to post this, but i'm soo frustrated and figured i'd give it a try.  I haven't logged into my account on here in a while, but I just registered on some sites and wanted to add the info on a wedding website I made through this site a few months ago.  I logged onto the knot, and then when I click my wedding website it asks me to choose a link and to create one.  Problem is, I already have one but it doesn't seem to be finding it?  If I go to the original link (jimmyshannon.ourwedding.com) it works fine, but I can't find anywhere to login directly from the site so that i'm able to edit or add any new information.
I tried multiple times to click on the my wedding website button under community on theknot website but like I mentioned, it just asks me to choose which website name I want and then to start creating, but it doesn't have any of my old information or the old website name that I used.
Anyone have any idea how I can fix this so I can sign onto the website and add the info?
I don't want to create a new site, because the save the dates that everyone has already has the original link listed.

The Knot has horrible tools (seating chart, guest list, website, etc). I would suggest using another website to create a new wedding website. I personally used weddingwire, but there are lots of different options. You could send an email to your guests letting them know of the change.

Otherwise, have you tried to make a new site using the old web address? Perhaps it could "delete" your old one. You'd have to start over from the beginning but it would be something.
  • I view my website by going to 'my knot' on the top left. Then I scroll all the way to the bottom and click on 'my website', which is on the left side. I am then able to edit my site. I would try again and see what happens. If that doesn't work, you might want to try to create a new one.

  • I found it very difficult to use, so I went to Weebly instead and have been very happy!

  • If you have to make another website somewhere else, you can always post a link to that website on the knot one since you already included the knot one on your save the date
