I know so many girls recommend Sally Duvall, however I recently got her price sheet and, wow! I didn't realize she was that high. Her flat rate includes "up to 5 faces", so having only 3 or 4 really makes it pricey and, for me, out of my budget big time. The search goes on....

Yea I was really shocked when I saw her pricing as well. I ended up booking Cristina Pignataro. Others I looked into that had reasonable pricing (but ended up being booked) - Gina Brozon and Jeanine Mangan.

omg, same here. I contacted a few of the recommended MUA's and its like, $150 for makeup?? no way. i'm looking for around $80 at the most, hopefully.

i'm using Valerie Vittollo from Bridals by Val, She was around 170 for hair and makeup and 150 for the girls.

april79lynn - Her price is $650. I got the pricing sheet about a month ago, but I'm assuming it's the same. I was expecting/hoping to pay $185 or so for myself and $70-85 for each of the girls. Seems in line with others I've seen quoted, so I was shocked when I saw this.

Even if I estimate myself at $200, that means my girls (if I had 4, which I don't!), would be $112 each. With the three girls I have, that would be $150 for each girl. Not happening. They want their makeup done and are paying for it, but I feel strongly against having them pay more than $85. Oh, and if you're outside of central NJ, her flat fee is $850. And a trial in her studio is $125!

I'm sure she's good, but I have no doubt others will do just as good of a job for a more reasonable (to me) price.

Jillyan from Skin and Paint Bar does amazing work. I look for every excuse to get my makeup done by her! She also has a great personality.

I am using Jeanine Mangan for makeup and she is $150 for airbrush and $85 for others to get airbrushed.
