Hair and Make up

Hi Ladies!

Oh I just love this wedding stuff! I am getting married June 4th 2011 in Newport, Ri. I was looking for a Bostonian make up artist/hairstylist that will travel to RI. I know that is not close but I haven't been able to find someone in RI.  Any suggestions ladies??

    I worked with Special Event Beauty. They do both hair and makeup and they travel. They might charge a fee to travel to RI, but you should definitely double check with them on that. I *loved* working with them. The whole hair and makeup team is awesome!

    I also used SEB, and they do charge for travel outside of the Boston area, but they are worth it!

    What ever you do, DO NOT USE Beautiful Blushing Brides! The owner never responds to calls, emails, Facebook messages, etc unless it is regarding money. My wedding is 3 days away and I have not heard from her at all. I have left three voicemails and several emails. I am getting ready to call the BBB on her a$$.

    I used Robin Liebowitz from Faces By Robin for my make-up, and Kristine England (recommended by Robin) for my hair.  I was happy with both of them.  I found them just a couple weeks before my wedding.  Robin charged $150 for me, with a free trial/consultation.  Christine charged $125, and I had to pay 50% at the trial.  They both charged $75 for the others (moms, sisters, etc).  Great contact, very sweet, and everyone was happy with how they looked.  I highly recommend them both!

    I used Rachael Berkowitz a few weeks ago for my wedding. I can't say enough about her she was awesome. I wanted my make-up a litte more dramatic from my trial and she did exactly what I wanted.
