Online Minister - Valid in Boston?

Does anyone have any experience with online ministry?  I have been asked to officiate my best friend's wedding, and I was directed to be ordained online.  I wanted to know if anyone out there has done this or if they wer themselves married by an online minister in Boston.  I called the clerk's office and she said it was valid, but I just want to make doubly sure that I don't need to go and fill out any sort of paperwork like I would have to in NYC.  The woman on the phone at the clerk's office kept skimming over the word "online" when I was asking about online ministers, so I'm just nervous.

    I'm having a friend officiate, and we are getting a license from the state of Mass.

    To me it seemed a little more official than the online stuff.

    We had a friend get a 1 day designation to marry us in Boston and it was really easy.

    Use the link in the post above, send in the application with a check for $25 and the Governor's office will mail the officiant the certificate which needs to be mailed in with your marriage license after the wedding.

    It is very valid.

    As someone studying to be a minister, I recommend what others have suggested.  

    Online ordination is not really legit and is becoming less and less legally recognized.
