(I don't want to name the photographer yet, because I'm hoping he'll pull through.)In the beginning of January I booked my photographer for my August 7 wedding. The owner is actually booked on my day but his two associates will be shooting. Mind you, the photographer and I actually worked together for a year until he chose to leave our company to pursue wedding photography. On Feb. 11, I emailed him asking him if we could shoot an e-session because as favors for my April 10 wedding shower, we are giving out frame coasters and would love to put the e-pics in them.
I didn't hear from him, so on Feb. 19 I followed up by email and he said we can shoot for the weeks of Mar. 8 or Mar. 15 and he would get back to me with firm dates and times. Those weeks passed and I heard nothing. I didn't want to reach out because this is his company and he should be keeping track of these types of things! I followed up again on March 22 and asked if we could shoot on March 27, Apri. 2, or Apr. 3. We had some dialogue and on March 30 he asked if I could do 5pm, today, Apr. 2. I said perfect what do we need to prepare. I haven't heard back since, I even called and left him a message last night. It's now the day of what's supposed to be my e-session and I have no idea what's going on!
I've already put down half of the payment for the wedding package and have not a clue what to do!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
