Star Hill brides- rehearsal dinner?

Hi Ladies,

I am trying to pin down a place for our rehearsal dinner and drove around the Star Hill area this weekend scouting nearby restaurants. Most of what I saw that would work for the occasion was just a few places in the Hill Country Galleria shopping center. I was in a bit of a hurry because my dad was with me and he was complaining about hurrying up so we could go to Cabela's (LOL) so I didn't get to scout the area that well.

Where did you have your rehearsal dinner? Hosting it ourselves isn't an option as we live out of town, but we are open to most places in the area. The crowd won't be too big as we are just including parents, grandparents and siblings for this event so it'll just be about 25 people.

a friend of mine got married at the star hill two weeks ago and their rehearsal dinner was at the salt lick in driftwood.

That is a great suggestion! Buuut, I should've mentioned that we are serving BBQ at the reception so I was trying to avoid BBQ places.

If you like Italian food, you should check out Ciola's. I went there about a year ago, and the food was really good! It is in Lakeway, and I don't think it is too far from Star HIll. Check it out!

Thanks for your help ladies! A family friend wrote to me this afternoon and suggested Iron Cactus Mexican Grill, so I think we are going to do that.

Try Verde's first...they are a mile down Hamilton Pool Rd from Star Hill...awesome food! Plus, they have a private party room and a patio if the weather is nice. Very very short drive for your guests.

Although I do love Iron Cactus
