The best part is I bought my dress on sale and my MOTHER actually begged me to try the dress on I was very persistent that I only wanted to try on dress's that were white not champagne or ivory etc. and once I had it on I knew that it was the one. It's perfect for my venue (thank gosh because I bought my dress before we booked it) we're going for a 1920's look more antique I guess, we want candelabra centerpiece's with flowers instead of candles black,white and light pink are our colors.

mother's seem to always know best, that's been my experience with prom dresses, etc!

what you've invisioned and described sounds so beautiful! and i love the color scheme you have....just so classy and elegant!

w/ my dress, it's totally not something I would have ever picked out for myself and the only reason why I put it on was bc the store owner pulled it for me to try on. I felt guilty saying, no thanks! Low-and-behold, it was "the one"....

Ha! I love the part Where they are at the engagement party and the two girls are giving their speeches....trying to have the last word. Funny and super awkward. Walkers loooovvvee your gown! I totally thought I too would be getting married in something just like that! Obsesssed. Minus constipated model.

i haven't chosen yet either...i was all set on a princess, ball gown, flowy dress and then i saw this: http://pinterest.com/pin/51932201923252084/ short lacy dress that i was thinking would be really cute and fun for an outdoor july wedding.

for a long one, i also love the idea of this: http://www.davidsbridal.com/Product_Two-In-One-Sweetheart-Strapless-Organza-Gown-KP3265 or another type of convertible dress, so i can have two looks but stay in my amazing wedding dress for my whole wedding! kind of leaning to the second at this point... any thoughts? my venue is definitely going to be a casual feel outside wedding with a bbq or indian buffet, so i love the idea of a semi casual wedding dress.

Missquela. . . I tried on the two-piece dress at David's and loved how it looked on. But, the bubble skirt of the dress underneath felt funny when I moved and if I stood just right it made the skirt pop funny. I was simply trying it on to get a feel for the silhouette before I ordered my dress online so I didn't bother asking any questions or trying to figure out if I had it on wrong. It's a GORGEOUS dress and I love the idea of having a shorter option for dancing, but maybe look for those things when you try it on and ask for help if you think you need it.

thanks for the tip, walkers. i haven't tried on anything yet since i'm trying to lose some weight before the wedding and i want to be at least a little closer to my goal!! probably going to start making appointments in august...
