Minnesota-Minneapolis and St. Paul

413 on Wacouta in St. Paul

We are looking at possibly having our reception at 413 on Wacouta in St. Paul and I was wondering if anyone has had their reception there and has an opinion about the place. Also, was it hard to get guests to nearby hotels? Any thoughts on this location would be greatly appreciated!

Kate, I  think dcprep had her wedding at 317 on Rice Park... similar name but entirely different venue.

I had desperately wanted to have our wedding at 413 on Wacouta... but they weren't available for the date we wanted annnnd they were a bit out of our budget. It's a gorgeous space, though, and I have heard nothing but positive things about the woman who runs it.

413 hosted one of our recent GTGs.  I don't know much about them other than that ;) The space was gorgeous, and the owner was always very friendly and accommodating with me while I was planning the GTG.

I am getting married at 413 on Wacouta this October.  Obviously, the wedding hasn't happened yet, but so far I've been nothing but happy with Lynn (the owner & coordinator).  Also, nearly all of the venders I have contacted have said great things about her.  As far a hotels, there is a Hilton Garden Inn attached by skyway!  We also reserved rooms at the St. Paul hotel (about one mile) and the Embassy Suites (for families).  Hope this helps!

I'm having my wedding there in May! SO EXCITED!  Agreed, Lynn has been awesome to work with.  The one thing I would say about it so far is that she is so FLEXIBLE.  Most venues have a list of things you can't do, or have to pay extra for.  She will let you do anything as long as you don't burn the place down.  And it's unique!

I'm having my ceremony and reception at 413 on New Years Eve. It is a beautiful place, but the capacity limitations may deter some people. We are having 175 guests for dinner which works well. I'd say it's a must see! I am beyond excited about this location! I would recommend it to anyone. True, I haven't had my event yet but from all of the rave reviews I've heard from vendors that have worked there I have no doubt that we'll have a great time.

Lynn is very flexible, and has many preferred vendors that she likes to work with. I've found it a great place to start my planning. Florist? Who does Lynn like to work with?

We plan on doing a block of rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn that it attached by skyway to the building.

    Hope this helped!
  • Are there any windows?  The pictures on the website make it look like it's in the basement.
  • FYI my friend had her weddings there. There is a room/changing space for the brides side but not for the other side.
