The Party House in Kannapolis

I'm WAY behind on booking a bakery for my cake, but I went yesterday to The Party House in Kannapolis and will most likely be booking with them.  I want a simple 3 tier cake to feed 170 people with white icing and pretty piping/designs and delivery.  He quoted me $240 before tax.  And he didn't need me to book yet for my April 30 wedding - he said to come back a month out to place the order.  I think I'll probably get my groom's cake there too since the price is so reasonable.  This also cuts out the need for sheetcakes in the back.

Has anyone had any experience with them?  The customer service wasn't top-notch over the phone but when we were in there it was fine.

    just be sure to very very clear about what you want. i think with them, the more simple it is, the better. i have a friend who got her wedding cake there and just a few hours before the wedding started, we had to send her entire cake back to be re-iced because it did not turn out how she thought it would. their cakes are good though!
