Reception Halls in Mass that allow outside catering

I am looking in the Northern MA/Southern NH area (like Lowell, Chelmsford, Dracut, Tewksbury, Haverhill, Methuen, Salem, NH, Woburn, Wilmington, etc) for a reception hall that allows outside catering.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Somewhat of a "hidden jewel"  is the Chelmsford Elks lodge.  I think you can bring in your own caterer (worth checking out at least).....they just rebuilt the whole thing like 2 years ago....and the photos are gorgeous

You're best bet for this is to look outside the box of normal venues.  Look for historic buildings, parks, lodge halls - that sort of thing.  Places that don't have kitchens or staff in house.

    A couple in Salem:

    Salem Old Town Hall

    Hamilton Hall

    The Friendship

You can try Groveland Fairways in Gorveland. Liz the coordinator is really nice and if you talk to her you probably can bring an outside caterer. They are really reasonable for rental space and it includes a ton and it is absolutely beautiful. Worth shooting her an email.

I agree with AlyssaC417 about Groveland Fairways.  I am having my wedding there, and it is a beautiful facility at a reasonable price.  They have a list of caterers with whom they work, but I got the impression that they do allow other caterers.  Two of the three they recommend were busy on the day I wanted to get married, and their wedding coordinator Liz was able to offer several other suggestions.  We have been very happy with Liz and her advice and are looking forward to getting married in two months.
