Miami wedding dress shopping

Help! I'm trying to get my wedding dress shopping underway. I'm a little less than six months out from the big day (I know I'm a little behind the curve already), but I'm sort of overwhelmed by the whole process.

I'm open minded about what I want so I'm hopeful that it won't be that difficult a task. With that said, any advice about where to go would be good. I really only want to spend around $1000. Of course I know David's Bridals is a good option but I was wondering if you guys had any advice.

Also, I'm not a tiny little bride-to-be either, I'm a size 16, so that's not helping with the anxiety of it all. Any advice, fellow brides-to-be?

    I'm sure you can find alot of options. Alfred Angelo has some and they sometimes have goo sales. I know there are a couple of off-the-mile bridal stores in South Miami that may be cheaper because they're not on the Million dollar Miracle Mile lol. You can try Brides of Florida in Kendall or way down south theres a store called Ann Marie's that isn't too bad. David's also has some great stuff but I would suggest the Pembroke Pines location because I found the customer service at the mile was subpar. HTH

    Check out Alfredo Angelo! They have a really good selection of wedding dresses for all shapes and sizes. They have several sizes for their samples dresses which is great since not all bridal shops carry several samples sizes of their dresses. Another one to check out if you live in the Kendall area is Brides of Florida. I actually purchased my dress there and they have been very helpful thus far. If you live in Broward then check out Happy Bride right off of the Hallandale Beach exit on I-95. They a lot of dresses and one of their lines, Casablanca is affordable but beautiful!
