FI forgot our reception site

Seriously... FI was just giving directions to the groomsamn on the phone for the reception  and described the wrong place (and was off by miles). I mean I have a map on the website, direction cards with a map, there was a map (literally) as part of the invitation, and we just went over photos yesterday talking about the set-up...

I think he remembered the site but forgot where it is in reference to the rest of world.

It just made me sooooo frustrated.

    I feel ya, my FI has the worst memory and I am slightly nervous about giving him small tasks to do on the day of... like knowing whose boutonniere/hand corsage is whose... plus he didn't understand why there needs to be a day of timeline... he thought we would "fly off the seat of our pants" during the reception...

    LOL, my fiance couldn't even tell you the name of our reception venue or where it is. it's in my hometown and he hasn't been there that much.

    I actually charged his mother with keeping track of him on the wedding day, pre-ceremony, because I'm afraid he'll get lost (and then frustrated).

    My FI wants to help more, but I don't trust him! I delegated a few things for him and his family, and I'm just nervous about trusting they get done properly.  For example: I delegated the rehearsal DAY to him and his family, and what do they do?  They plan the RD DURING the rehearsal- and it's a half hour away! I said they should change it and FI was telling me "we're coming in with a party of 20, they aren't gonna book anyone else before us and we're allowed to be late." Sure, but if we KNOW we're gonna be late, why plan it so we're late??? Ugh...

    I feel your frustrations ladies. My FI parents aren't helping us pay for anything for the wedding. They live out of town and will be here on Friday afternoon. They called and asked us if we wanted to meet them for dinner with my FI's aunt and uncle at 5. I was like uh... hello... we have Rehearsal at 7 and we're having dinner afterwards. And we're setting up for the wedding before that starting at like oh.. NOON.

    All Fi says.. oh let me ask Roni. I'm like really, you couldn't tell your mother uh Mom... no we can't go to dinner. We  have like 15 people showing up for rehearsal and several out of towners will be with us already helping to set up for the ceremony. Maybe you want to come help too?
