What are your DIY projects?

Good afternoon brides!

Pinterest has inspired many DIY projects, lol. However, I think I can only handle a few.
I think I'm gonna DIY pew decorations and centerpieces.

For the pews, I'll be hanging cute containers filled with flowers. Haven't decided if I'll use real flowers or silk, but I'll decide later.
For centerpieces, we were thinking of using an assortment of about 6 drinking glasses filled with candles and flower blooms surrounding them. I plan to spray-frost the glasses, and adding lace on the tall ones, leaving the small glasses just plain frost.

What are you guys gonna DIY?!

I am making a brooch bouquet for myself. I am not sure what I will be doing for the rest of the BM's, GM's etc

I am going to attempt to make the wire name hangers when I ask my ladies to stand up.

I don't know if this counts, but my mom will be making my veil.

I plan on making a card box, place setting cards, possibly invitations (not sure yet), and bouquets, bouts and corsages with silk flowers. I'm REALLY nervous about the flowers and I have been stressing over making them. I don't know that much about the different flowers yet so I'm not sure what I want and I just don't know if I trust myself to make them look really good.

Oh, dmackie, that reminds me that I'd like to make a cardbox too! Maybe escort cards too. I'm not brave enough to handle invitations though.
For flowers, I'd really go trial and error. There are a TON of good tuturials posted on the DIY board.

FI is going to make those wire hanger things for myself and my bridesmaids (hes very handy), he is also designing the invitations/STD/menus/programs/stationary etc.

Im not really doing much DIY, obviously i will help with input for the invites & such lol but other than that I dont know. Im sure Ill find things that I need to do closer to the date hah.

All in all - I have to say I have a pretty amazing FI lol
