Update: Pikie Place Flowers

So we went on Saturday to talk with a few farms about doing flowers for the wedding.

Santos Farm: Which is the closest to the entrance (where they throw the fish) said as long as you come in 2 wks before they can fill your order.

September brides they will have lillies and dahlias in at that time.

    No I am having them make them. But I am doing more of a wild flower theme for the centerpieces and my bouquet.

    How much did they quote you? I am most either going to get the flowers from pike place or the bothell farmers market (only one that is on Friday) for our bouquets. My FMIL will most likely put them together for me but I wouldn't mind having someone do it for me for the right price.

    Centerpieces are around $15- Bouquets I am not sure since my mom was talking with her, and I went to get donuts Embarassed

    wow... that's a really good deal for centerpieces!  do they do the arranging if you provide the vases?

    Is that $15 per centerpiece? I'm trying to decide what I want to do for mine. Candles or flowers. There are SO many choices. My colors are black and white so I'm thinking of just plain white flowers but am having a hard time finding just white, no green, etc. I'm so picky.

    You gave me faith in Pike Place though, I'll definitely have to make a trip down there!

    I'm hoping for all white. I'm so picky and prefer not to have the green. I know, it's crazy...I'm a pain! LOL. 
    Have you seen the tall jars with the water beads on Pinterest in black and white? That is one of my options. Another is the carnations (silk) stuck into a round, foam ball and then sitting it on the tall vases with the beads hanging from it into the vase, if that makes sense...I'm going to try that idea out this weekend and see how it goes.

    Hmm. that's a good idea! I'll try the ribbon. I'm also going to try making a silk pommander with white carnations and then having the string of beads/jewels in black and white hanging from it. It will then sit on tall vases as my center piece with votives and tealights around it. We'll see how this project goes ;)
