Star Dust Suite

We are planning on having a reception hopefully at the Star Dust Suite, I recieved a email from the cordinator and in the contract it says we can only have the suite from 6pm-11pm, has past or present Brides had this in their contract? Also we are probably going to be having approx 75 people attending, would this be to many people in the Star Dust Suite?

I will be having my reception there in February. I believe my contract states 6pm - 12am. I was also told that if they needed to open the room for me a couple hours earlier so that I could put things in it they would. I do plan on only using it until 11pm though which is when I have the DJ and the open bar till. My ceremony is at 6pm so I don't plan on getting to the suite till around 7pm anyway.
From what I understand there is seating for 65 but the room holds 90. Nursing may be able to answer that one a little better.

it's not gonna be too many people for the suite.. But I guess it depends on if you plan on bringing other tables or something. and my contract says 5pm to midnight.. they said music has to stop at midnight and the dj can pack up everything after midnight.  They also said that we can get into the room earlier in the day to set up things... The deposit is 1000 and the F&B is 3500.00

The suite does have an iPod station with built in sound system throughout the suite. You do not need to bring in any connectors for it, just your iPod. There are 12 flat screens throughout the suite and we can also have our A/V techs connect your playstation, wii and/or Nintendo 360 to help keep the kids occupied. We can arrange the suite for dancing.  The suite is a nonsmoking suite but there is a terrace/balcony where smoking is permitted.  There is a bar located inside the suite and you may order bartender service for an additional $125 fee for the bartender. You may count as much as the minimum required towards your beverage service

My sister-in-law was in vegas a few weeks ago and went to look at the Stardust for us! It's perfec for 75 people. But in the end, I wanted a more traditional reception feel and I have older grandparents that need tables. :) So we went with something else.  Their food was a decent price but they you have to do everything else...and I didn't want to do that :)
Good luck! I have some photos if you need them

My ceremony is at COF..we are staying at Orleans the night before. I actually booked two adjoining room for the night before and the night of. I'm flying in my MUA, hairstylist and photographer from Jersey so I want them to have the room to set up, keep equipment, etc. You do get the Presidential Suite the night of so we will be staying in there.
I have spoken to Jay Mc Palmer over the phone and email and Janice Vanzzano by email. They have both been extremely helpful and very responsive. It was Jay who told me if I needed to get in the room earlier I could. I asked them for DJ recommendations and they happily provided them. However, I'm using DJ Godzilla who is not on their preferred vendor list but they have no issues with me selecting whomever I want.

Any questions please feel free to ask away. I'd love to help anyway I can!

Does the Star Dust have only cake options or do they have cup cakes too?
Also does anyone know if the Presidentail Suite is connected to the Star Dust Suite, or is the door right before the star dust enterance?

They only have cakes....I wanted cupcakes. If I bring them in from a baker they do charge a cake cutting fee (even though they are technically not cutting anything), but they do charge that fee per cupcake.

I'm not sure about the Presidential Suite but would also like to know myself.
