Renting a bus to shuttle guests?

Hi, Just wondering if anyone has information on bus companies in South Jersey that would do a shuttle service from the hotel to our reception and back again at the end of the night.

My family lives about an hour or more away and I expect a good number of them will want to stay at the hotel, but also drink at the reception and not drive. The two are about 4 miles apart. I've been asking for quotes from limo services but most of them only offer 15-person vans and renting more than one sounds costly. Renting only one would mean many trips and lots of waiting.

A few years ago I called a school bus company (near trenton) to bring a bachelorette party to Philly and back and it was very affordable. Does anyone know of anything like that around here?

Thanks!

I was seriously thinking the same thing.  I called everywhere, includnig charter bus companies.  I decided on just doing a 15 passenger shuttle that will do runs all night.  Two shuttles is just so costly... if you find anything better please let me know!

Ended up going with Holcomb bus company in Bellmawr. Only $375 for the bus and if we needed a second run, its another $25 so $400 max. They seem very laid back too - alcohol allowed on the bus, which I thought was cool, but not needed for us since the reception is only 4 miles away from the hotel. They required  a $100 deposit and balance is paid a week or so before.

How long do you get the bus for? Do you rent for a few hours? We would need the bus to take guests from hotel to venue and then back to hotel 5 hours later and I wasn't sure how the school bus rentals work!

I reached out to Holcomb and they quoted me $575 for six hours to come to the Belmar/Spring Lake area. I haven't decided on one company yet but need to do so very soon!!!
