Wedding Website

Whew! I just finished our wedding website and wow, that was a lot of work! We're still figuring out the day of timeline but pretty much everything on there is going to stay the same. My family has been waiting for this since we got engaged! Hopefully it will satisfy them for now.

Is anyone else doing a wedding website?

I started one a few months ago when we first booked our venue. I'll include the website on our STDs when they go out.

I started one and have most of the stuff and will put it on our STD but I will have it completed once we do our engagement pictures and have things set in stone

I"m going to do one. I kindof started it, espeically the stuff to do around my area since most of the guests are out of towners. Plus that stuff will stay the same. I'll send it out wiht STDs also.

Started mine so I can share that and might stave off a few questions from people!? haha I can only hope. I will have it done by July when we have our engagement party. Just booked our venue so now I can really start getting everything in order.

Ours is a work in progress! We started working on it months ago and then slowed down as grad school started taking over. Now that I'm done, we have the free time to continue on it and we're almost done. We will have to have ours done by the time our STDs are sent out since we put the website link on them. We wanted to do the website since we'll be having a lot of out of town guests.

I had started one through TK but since we are doing destination It's only about half done since I can't really pick dates until I know flight info in a couple of months. It made me get even more excited : Will also be adding the address to save the dates!!

We started one on the Knot, but as with all things IT related and the Knot, it has had some hiccups. One of my fiancee's friend's is a web designer, so we asked him to make a website for us. He agreed, but hasn't started yet.

If you are going to make one from a wedding site, I recommend using weddingwire.com. They have a lot of great features, especially ensuring a compatible mobile version of your site.

I used the one the knot provides and it has been just fine. I haven't had any problems with it. I just checked out weddingwire.com and I kind of wish I would have found that website first!

Im doing mine on the wedding wire they had allot more to choose from. I am still working on mine but will finilize it once we get our engagement pictures (taking them June 15th). here is the link if anyone wants to look and the progress. = )

I have one on Wedding WIre is so much easier and has very cute backgrounds for free. You can add a photo slide show, music, blog and lots more. Sorry but the Knot one kinda sucks.
