Day of Gifts...

I know that exchanging gifts on the wedding day is not mandatory or shouldn't be expected... but FI and I decided we wanted to do this.

Yesterday I received my BPic album. And I think I made it work even though my photog could have done a better job. and I put a lot of thought and time into preparing for the shoot and putting my "outfits" together. I also had a personalized authentic Cubs Jersey made that I used for the photos that I want to give him even though I accidently ordered it to big.. I think he will LOVE both...

But here is my concern... I haven't put any thought into what he could possibly get me because I wanted it to be a total surprise. Well last night he kept talking about his gift for me... I think he must have just picked it up because he was excited about it (he is HORRIBLE at keeping secrets when it comes to gift giving lol)... so based on what he said I think I know what he got me... and if it's that it seems way more than what I got him even though you probably can't put a price on an album of racy pics of your soon to be wife right?

Should I even waste my time worrying about it? I guess I just don't want him to be let down when he opens my gift....

I'm such a stress ball these days!

I don't think you should worry about it. When he opens that album he isn't going to be thinking about his gift to you being better or more than your gift to him. I'm not sure if all guys are like this, but it has been my experience that they don't even think about things being even. I think it's just something that we worry about. Don't stress!!!!

I agree with what Rach said and you shouldn't stress it Jen. He will love his custom made Jersey and adore the photo album and won't be thinking about how much you spent on it. You are 3 weeks away girl so just try to not sweat the small stuff :-)

I agree with what everyone else has written so far!! He's going to swoon over those pics and be so friggen shocked and impressed that you had those pictures taken for him and put all that effort into the custom jersey as well as all the different outfits that the cost will not enter his mind at all!! Your BD photo album would blow any other present away! Do not worry! On a side note, what do you think he got you?

Thanks ladies! You all are right.. and deep down that's what I thought, but I just really needed to hear it from others...

@HappyMaddie.... I'm think he got me this goregeous Diamond, steel and white ceramic Michele watch that I've been eyeing for a while... I could be wrong... but all the hints he was dropping makes me believe that.

Jen DO NOT worry!!! He is going to ADORE your b-pic album! You spent a lot of time, effort and money on every aspect and he is going to love it! I wouldn't give it another thought!

Trust me, your FI is going to LOVE that present. If it was my FI that would mean way more to him then a pricey gift. You put a lot of thought, effort and love into that present !!!

Definately don't worry about it. We made an agreement to just do something small, under $30. Well I got him the custom tie tac with the map of Honolulu on it. He bought me the new Camelia bracelet with 4 charms Soul Mate, Bride and Groom, celebration (wine in a bucket), and One that says I love you....I love you more. Obviously that was more than $30.
