Let me first say that this was our experience and the one you had or may have in the future could be completely different... perhaps we caught Angie on a bad day.  Nonetheless, she just wasn't right for us, but she could be perfect for you!!  I thought I'd share my experience for some insight:

We met with Angie at her Design and Capture Studio.  We had a meeting with her at 5:00pm.  Upon arrival at about 4:55pm, she was in the middle of handling another client.  We then sat in the waiting room for about 15 minutes before she came in.  She didn't have much to say and didn't know what the different types of photography styles were called.  Some other client walked in on our meeting and she left us to chat with the other lady about her (angie's) match.com hookups and life updates in the adjacent room.  After sitting and waiting for her for 30 minutes, we got up and left without finishing the meeting.  We thought that she conducted herself in a very unprofessional manner and we feared that she may do the same thing on our wedding day.

Also, if you do decide to meet with her, take a good look at the photos she presents to you of the entire wedding day... she gets maybe one or two really awesome shots that absolutely WOWs you, but majority of them are so-so.  Hope this helps!

After extensive research, we decided to go with BeauVaughn... AMAZING husband and wife team to work with and their photos are beautiful!  They are in the same price range as Design and Capture Studio.

Thanks - that is very helpful.  We haven't met with Angie yet but we were also looking at BeauVaughn.

ChrisAngel! what a horrible way to do business. Did she call to see why you left?
We did not meet with BeauVaughn but are using http://colleeneidephotography.com she and her husband are full time photographers and we fell in love with their work and personalities when we first met with them. We later found out they are also photographing two of our old friends weddings.

Good luck with whoever you decide to go with.

Thanks for all the info.  We ended up going with Sarah Dickerson Photography we really liked her when we met with her and she is fairly priced for what we were looking for.

Well.... I went with Angie because my venue reccomended her. I have got to say that my engagement pictures turned out wonderful. There was a complete album full of great shots. However, my wedding day was a disaster! There was no creativity in any of the pictures and there really wasn't one good shot that I could actually pick out to hang on my wall. I could have went with a more professional photographer for probably the same price. I am very disapointed in her work on my wedding day and there is no way to get that day back. Her web site is full of Great photos, but unfortunately I wasn't able to recieve that end of her service. So, be careful in choosing her as your wedding photographer. I wish I would have looked a little harder before hiring her for my event.
