Wine in the Woods

Anyone going?  Has anyone gone before?  FI and I just discovered a winery we both love at our local wine store and I signed up for their e-mails; apparently they are going to be there.  I'd never heard of it and was wondering if it's worth paying $25/$30 for a ticket.

    I haven't been to wine in the woods but I have been to another wine festival. I went with some girlfriends and we loved it. It was a good time and we all aren't much for wine. The cost was about the same for the festival we went too. I have other friends who have been to wine in the woods and enjoyed it. I'm sure someone else on here has gone to this festival and can be of better help.

    Wine in the Woods is AWESOME! I haven't been in a few years since I'm not currently living in MD (boo) but I went twice a few years ago and it was really fun. DEFINITELY worth the ticket! You get a little glass and can try out as much wine as you want, and there are tons of winerys there. They give you maybe 1/4 of a glass, so it's not much, but you can keep going back :) Plus they have lots of info about the wines (the people who pour are pretty knowledgable), live music, I think people selling arts and crafts, etc. Bring a blanket and chairs and some picnic food and spend the day!

    Thanks Megan! We were looking at the music and I think we'll definitely bring a coller/picnic basket with some snacks and a blanket to just hang out and listen.  The wine sounds good, too!
