outdoor november ceremony?

Any thoughts on having ceremony outdoors on Nov 5th? I know the weather is so unpredictable!  But it was so nice this past year!!! And Im thinking its so much easier to have ceremony/reception at the same place! But Im not in love with the space to have the wedding indoors if weather isnt on our side. Outdoors is beautiful there! But then again, there's nothing like a church wedding.. ughh decisions decisions!!

Where will your reception take place? There are some nice places in the area where you can have a beautiful ceremony in addition to the reception.

I attended an outdoor wedding in October this year and we were all FREEZING-- but it didn't last too long, so we survived!

November is best for an indoor ceremony, unless it's under 15 minutes. Then you might be able to get away with it. But even if you plan for an outdoor ceremony because one year it's nice enough, that doesn't mean it will be on you wedding day! The last thing you want to do is plan for outside and then have to be moved indoors, esp. since you said you didn't like the indoor option!

But I see that you decided to stay with your original ceremony. You can always get beautiful pictures outside!

And depending on how far your ceremony is from your recepti8on, the wait won't be too long, You will probably be done at the church around 3:15 or so (ceremony, receiving line, bubbles)So by time people stroll to their cars it will be close to 3:30.

So you shouldn't have too much of a gap. Can people check into the hotel or is it too far away?

Yeah I remembered it seems like Halloween is cold every year, and the weddings a week later so I'm sure it won't be too warm. I don't think it's too big of a gap, but my parents still insist that only 10 people are going to show up at the church! They are driving me crazy! They said I'm making a big deal about it and to just get married at the place bc it makes everything easier. Most of my family will be traveling from long island. The hotel is 20 min away from the church/reception hall
