Weston Gardens?

Hey everyone! I'm brand new to the Knot (engaged last week! HOORAY!) and we are trying to nail down a venue for our fall wedding (yep. This fall) ASAP. Problem: I'm SET on outdoors with trees, but that's so hard to find in Dallas without costing an arm and a leg!
We're going to look at Chandler's Gardens and 1899 Farmhouse tomorrow- but I just saw Weston Gardens and was wondering if anyone had either had their wedding there or at least gotten info on it anytime recently? I'm trying to figure out price or how many they can hold. I emailed them, but since we are going to look tomorrow, I'd like to at least get a ballpark as soon as I can!

    Sorry, I don't know anything abou the venue itself but McGowan's photographed a wedding here last year and it looks beautiful!

    Welcome!  I would say check out Winfrey Point or the Filter Building at White Rock Lake.  They are both great values and beautiful outdoor spaces.  They are SUPER popular though, so you almost have to be there in person to get a space reserved.

    Do you know your budget yet?  There are lots of really beautiful outdoor spaces that I think are very affordable.

    Hmm...I may be too late on this but I have their pricing from December...not sure if it's still the same or not. It's all based on how many guests and what day/time. 

    Saturday evening (5-10 PM), 51-150 guests: $3000
    Saturday evening, 151-250 guests: $3500
    Other days/times are cheaper. 

    We never ended up looking but it seemed gorgeous. The only reason I decided against it was because they didn't have an indoor reception space option and I was worried about it being too hot.

    Thanks everyone! I'm going to look tomorrow, but we checked out Chandler's Gardens in Celina on Saturday, and Weston would have to be pretty darn unbelievable to beat Chandler's. My favourite place to be is in the woods, and there is this gorgeous section of Chandler's that just makes you forget that you are anywhere close to Dallas. It's so beautiful. I recommend any bride check it out if you want an outdoor wedding in the fall or early spring before it gets too hot!
