Anyone know where my mother can go to get a good off the rack dress....someone's dragged her feet about getting a dress and now she's too close to the wedding to order.......We've already tried most department stores.

    Try David's Bridal.  My grandmother got her dress there off the rack.  If a particular store doesnt have one-they can ship from another store.  You could also try Macys.  I bet they have a good selection.

    my only advice is to keep hitting the dept stores if it's too late to order from a bridal shop.  My mom lucked out at Macy's.  There is a Bridal consignment shop that I was told was pretty good (I've never been) in Acushnet MA.  That might be another option for her?

    I am not sure if this is to out of the area for you but, Main St. in Falmouth has some really nice boutiques and shops. Port Cargo had nice stuff, but I have not been in there in years, also try Rosie Cheeks, my mom was looking at a dress in there.  I am sure any town on the Cape will have cute little boutiques with really nice dresses in them.  Worth a shot maybe.

    There's a great little shop in Osterville where my mother found hers, but I'm blanking on the name.  But it's right next door to the Shoe Salon, where I found my bridal shoes :-)

    YAY!  She finally found a dress (in New Jersey of all places.....she certainly waited long enough).  Thanks for all the suggestions!
