ceremony decoration ideas

Okay, I need help! I'm getting married in a small church that doesn't really have ANYTHING for decorations other than some uplighting. I CANNOT figure out what to decorate with to save my life. The walls are brown. My FI and I like the look of things like stones, wrought iron, water, and stained glass (we'd have loved to get married in a chruch w/ the architectural features, but there isn't anything like that in our location. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

I hate tulle, but tulle bows are easy and cheap and wedding-y.

Pomanders or just big flower arrangements?

With the wrought iron you could do some really cool tall candelabras, it depends how much you want to spend.

i'm getting married in a very simple small church as well. i actually like the simpleness of it so the only decorations we're adding is some simple white bows to some of the pews and having a few big floral arrangements at the entrance and by the alter. if you wanted to do more you can tie little floral arrangements or make paper flowers to tie to the pews as well. also maybe consider having a white aisle runner. i think these simple things will add a lot.

If you like the look of iron and want candles this might work really well in your altar area. I think candles are a great and cheap option. I personally love the look of using tall vases on the floor next to the pew with floating candles and some rose petals around the base.
