Garment Bag for Dress

Morning!

If you're flying with your dress, what kind of garment bag are you using? My dress came with a cloth bag from the shop. I can't decide if I need to buy a plastic one for the flight. We will have a three-hour layover in San Juan and I am having visions of someone spilling a coke or coffee and the liquid seeping through the cloth.

However, most of the bags I've found on Amazon say they are "breathable". Is that important? Would a plastic bag "suffocate" the dress?

Thoughts? Opinions?

I never thought of getting a different bag. Mine is already in a plastic one and the cloth one is over it. But it's at the seamstress so I hope she leaves it the way it is

I bought the garment bags for H and I at Zellers. Just simple plastic ones and they held up great. I got the opaque ones but they also had clear ones.

Thanks for saying amazon. I need a bag from my dress. I purchased mine on line. It didn;t come in a garment bag.
