Theme Ideas

Hello everyone, my wedding will be in the 11 of august, the ceremony will be in an old church and the party in a ballroom. But i have no idea what theme to choose, me and my fiance are graphic designers, we want something luxurious and romantic but in the same time creative, do you have some suggestions? :) Thank you

    I dont think you really need a theme for a wedding. Unless you want one of course. Your theme could be luxurious & romantic and then you can always through personal creative touches into it to make it "your" wedding.


    Examples:

    Creative cake topper- Personalized
    Signage
    Creative cake (We are going to have doughnuts instead of cake)
    Photobooth with fun props
    Creative personal favors
    Sweetheart table instead of head table
    Signature drinks
    Creative Save the dates (Shown below)
    Creative Guest book
    Creative ways to display your menu (shown Below)
    Creative programs
    Centerpieces
    You can create your own Monogram and display it or use it on invites
    You can have your BM carry fans, latterns, or feather bouquets instead of the traditional flower bouquets.

    I agree you don't necessarily need a theme but if you want one then think of the details that exude luxury in the minds of your guests.  For instance you could go with a theme like "Fantasy Island" and have in your wedding things one would find at a five star villa like amazing tropical floral decor and rich linens, etc.  Or think about a place you and your FH have been too or seen that was romantic and recreate that in your wedding.

    I also agree with our moderator that by adding your artistic flair to the details of your wedding you will be able to get the luxurious and romantic look that you want to your day.

    It can make you weak and strong simultaneously.
