A Sweeter Candy Bar

Hi vintage goddesses!

I'm slowly, but surely collecting things for my candy/pastry/cookie buffet.  Today I went to an antique shop and bought a two 5-taper candelabras and two black milk glass cake stands (one small, one large).  The stands have little dots along the sides.  They're so shiny and pretty!

Now to hunt for reasonable apothecary jars....Hmmm....:)

    I found this awesome site: http://www.save-on-crafts.com/apothecary1.html that has TONS of different styles of apothecary jars at really reasonable prices-- Once we have the budget for them, we're ordering from there... So, unfortunately, I don't have a good or bad review to give them.. 
    but I hope that helps!  
    Cool idea to add pastries and cookies to your candy buffet!!!

    Check out Safeway in the floral department, everywhere i looked i only found small ones, and found 2 huge ones at Safeway of all places!  Sears online also has a set of 3 for $30 or so, they are small but very cute :)

    Just make sure you check the sizes. We ordered some from save-on-crafts, thinking they would be large enough, and we were super disappointed at the size. It was cheaper to keep them and use them around the house than return them. We are using the biggest one to hold our candy sticks, though, so it wasn't a total loss.

    I got my apothecary jars at the Flower Factory (I believe they have e-shopping on their website if there isn't one near you) and I purchased 10 for under $150. :)
