What are your guys wearing?

So, I let FI pick what the guys were wearing since I got to pick what my girls were wearing. He really went back and forth between tuxes and suits. Then he tried to find ties to match the dark blue my girls are wearing but was getting very frustrated. Today he's decided they'll wear black suits and black ties and he'll wear a black suit with a light colored tie (ivory or silver or something like that). No vests for anyone. I feel kind of sad that there will be no color in their ties but I said he could pick so I'm not saying anything.

So, do you think this will look okay? What are your guys wearing?

I think it will look fine. Depending on how dark the girl's dresses are, you might not be able to tell that they are wearing blue and the guys are wearing black.

I'm not sure what our guys are wearing yet. I wanted for the groom and the dad's to wear tuxes and everyone else wear suits but, I've been told this will look bad in pictures (I still don't see the problem though). So, we're still undecided.

I think it will look fine. Before he completely give up on color, have him look here (http://www.bows-n-ties.com/). I had about given up on dark purple tie but I found them here for a great price. The guys are wearing black pants, white shirts, and dark purple ties.

Well. As of right now, FI and all his groomsmen are wearing black tuxes with black self tie bow ties and cummerbunds. We entered a contest to win cummerbund sets and if we win that, all the guys will wear a pale green gingham or stripe set.

Just out of curiousity, what colour will your flowers be, if you're having flowers?

Our girls will be wearing orange dresses with white daisy bouquets, I'll have an orange and green bouquet with my white dress, and our guys will all wear grey pants and grey vests over white dress shirts. FI will wear an orange tie, and the other guys will have green ties.

The groomsmen will wear a white calla lily to match the bridesmaids white calla lily bouquets. FI will wear a pink calla lily to match my pink calla lily bouquet.

The groomsmen are wearing a tux with an ivory shirt, black vest, and gold tie. Fi is wearing a tux with an ivory shirt, ivory vest, and ivory tie with a gold thread. I kind of wanted FI to wear a black vest as well, but he chose the ivory vest.

I think the black ties will be fine. I think it's a very classic look.

Our guys are all wearing tuxes - black with a white shirt. The only difference being is the color of the vest & ties. FI will be wearingwhite/ivory, BM will be wearing grey, GM will be wearing lapis, and FFIL, my uncle, & MOH BF will be wearing black.

I let FI pick the tuxes for him, the groomsmen, and fathers. They're all wearing the same tux jacket, pant, vest, tie, and shoe styles. Black jacket, pant, and shoe, and the vest and tie in their color (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, and pink) which matches my bridal party members. FI has a silver vest and tie, and our fathers match our mothers' dresses. The ushers wanted to wear the same thing, but they have black vests and black and white striped ties.

Right now all I know is that the guys will be wearing black suits and white shirts. I'm not sure exactly what color ties yet but my FI is debating between them wearing blue or green ties.

The guys are all wearing these tuxes with feather and rose boutonaires. The vests are mocha with matching ties and a black fedora with a mocha band to match.

We chose this outfit because the guys vary in height and size and this was the most forgiving suit. It made them all look taller and leaner; those Kiser boys really clean up nice in the right circumstances...

I think that will look fine. My FI, father, and the groomsmen will all be wearing a tux. FI and father will wear a black tux with white vest and tie, while the groomsmen will wear a black tux with pink vest and tie ( trying to match the watermelon from david's bridal)

I think what your FI planned is fine. My FI, his GM, and our fathers are wearing the same black tux with white shirt. My FI is wearing an ivory vest, GM have a clover green vest, and our fathers have black vests. I like how the colors distinguish them nicely.

My FI is wearing a white tux with a teal vest and tie and his GM's are wearing a tan suit with a teal tie and vest. My FI wanted to pick his attire and he said I could pick the GM's attire because he knew I had a vision.

Our guys are all wearing gray three-piece tuxes. FI will have an ivory tie, GM will have teal tie, Ushers will have black tie. The dads will be wearing black tuxes with matching black vest and silver ties.

I think that will look fine! FI is wearing a custom gray suit, white shirt, and purple tie. GM will wear gray suits, white shirts, and purple ties. We are thinking about having FI wear a light gray suit and a deep purple tie, and the GM wearing a darker/charcoal gray suit and a lighter purple tie. We don't have anything super finalized yet though.

I think it will look fine. My FI also picked the tuxes. He went with black tux, white shirts, lavendar vest and lavendar tie.

It will look really nice with the girl's dresses. They are black and white and the flowers will be lavendar. I can't wait, everything will look so good.

The GM will be wearing the same thing this guy is wearing. They will have fuchsia roses as bouts. FI will be wearing the same thing but he will have a bigger bout.

My girls are wearing fuchsia dresses and will carry mostly orange bouquets.

RIght now I think the guys are wearing a tux with a tie to match the girls but Fi hasn't made any final decisions.

I think it will look great! We are doing beige suits and the girls are wearing navy dresses and I just realized the other day how hard it is going to be to find a tie that matches the navy dresses. We might go with a dark pink if all else fails.

The guys are wear Khaki Linen Suits on the beach. With sea Shell boutineers to go with the sea shell bouquets.

The groom, groom's men and my son (who will be escorting me down the aisle) will be wearing kilts with the modern douglas tartan. Prince Charlie style jackets with Navy blue ties. The pic below is the jacket style but the kilt and tie will be different colors.

For you ladies who are going with black suits - are you renting them? Are they all wearing black suits that they already own?

My FI wants to let his GM all wear black suits that they already own. I'm a little hesitant about it.
