Christmas is almost here...!

Hey girlies!

Ugh I'm in a lunch meeting and need distraction...

Are you done your christmas shopping?
Have you decorated your home for the holidays?
Anything fun that you've got planned: baking, holiday parties, kris kringles?
Vacation time off?

Are you done your christmas shopping? Not yet. Need to figure out a few more people. The more I think about it the more they will get gift cards to buy what they want. Lame? Totally. But at least it's not me wasting money.

Have you decorated your home for the holidays? Yes, we put up our Christmas tree the first weekend in December and our Mickey Mouse wreath :)

Anything fun that you've got planned: baking, holiday parties, kris kringles? Um What's a Kris Kringle?

Going to a a holiday cocktail party this Friday, other random get togethers over the weekend and going to have both my parents and my mother in law at our house for Christmas Dinner. Ack!

Vacation time off? Am off for the rest of the year starting next Wednesday, yay!

Are you done your christmas shopping? -- Yes it's done! Mostly due to the fact I didn't have a lot of people on my lists. We are doing hang outs more now then gifts. The gift of time.

Have you decorated your home for the holidays? -- I decorated FI's house a little. We will do more next year when I move in. I plan to buy a bunch of stuff during the after Christmas sales. I did get this great engaged ornament.

Anything fun that you've got planned: baking, holiday parties, kris kringles? -- I wondered what Kris kringles were. We have a ton of holiday parties. Plus we will be going to mass the day of and having our family Christmas party. I can't wait!! I love this time of year.

Vacation time off? -- I will be gone for three weeks if my VISA works out. I will gone for 3 weeks.

Kris Kringle is a secret santa...pretty much a group of people get together and pick each other's names from a hat and then you have to get a gift for the person's name you picked...but it's suppose to be a secret until the actual party when you gift each other.

    True...what's a white elephant?

<div>A White Elephant is pretty much a gift exchange but you can switch it with other people who already has their gifts. And the gifts are worth nothing more than 10 bucks if that. but some people go over board. You label the gifts w/ numbers and then pick out a number from a hat... <font face="sans-serif" size="2" class="Apple-style-span" color="#000000"><span style="line-height:19px;" class="Apple-style-span">say if i got a present but didnt want to unwrap it cause i liked the previous gift that was unwrapped by someone else, i can exchange it with that person who has it and let them unwrap the gift i didnt open... </span></font></div><div><font face="sans-serif" size="2" class="Apple-style-span" color="#000000"><span style="line-height:19px;" class="Apple-style-span">does that make sense? Im not good at explaining. sorry. :(</span></font></div>

Shopping is done, more or less... I think, lol! Spent a good hour or so at the post office this afternoon.

No decorating here. Just wasn't feelin' fot it. FI stated/asked what was the point if we're going to be in AZ for Christmas.

Last weekend was my office's holiday party which was ok. We had a white elephant exchange.

FI has had lots of vendor sponsored holiday events. Unfortunately, they did not permit significant others... so he went to only two events, one during the work hours and the other was an cocktail hour in the hotel adjacent to his office, which he went to since it takes me up to an hour to get home anyway.

We took our cat to see Santa Paws...
