Wedding Ceremony Times?

I really would love to have an evening wedding reception, but most churches have Vigil mass on saturday around 4-5pm.  Just out of curiosity what time are you gals (fellow Catholic Brides) getting married? what time is your reception afterward?

    3pm ceremony
4pm-5pm: hosted refreshments/wine at parish hall while family did photos
    5pm-11pm: reception at nearby

I got married on a Sunday, and my church does not do Sunday afternoon Mass.

Ours will start at 7:00PM, and last until about 8:00PM or so with a full mass.

    Reception starts at 8:30.

I should also tell you that ours is on a Friday.

We had a Friday wedding, in large part to avoid any potential gap.

    3:00 ceremony
    6:00 reception starts

Reception is about 30 minutes from the ceremony.  Most guests are either local or staying in the hotel right by the reception.  The hotel offers a complimentary cocktail reception for hotel guests.

Had mine at 5 PM.   Reception was in the church basement--started @ 5:30.    Then had an after-party at a local bar.
