Apple Valley Florist

Hey Ladies,
Anybody had dealings w/Apple Valley Florist?  Our package at Le Chambord includes centerpieces done by this florist.  I plan on doing silk bouquets for myself and girls but I'm a little concerned with centerpieces.

I've never heard of them, but they are probably local to Le Chambord. Talk to them (the florist) and see what they can do for you. Look through magazines to get ideas of what you want for your centerpieces. And bring the pictures to your meeting. Depending on what you want, you might need to pay for an upgrade to get what you want. (usually the centerpieces that are provided by your venue are very simple). The other option is to see what kind of credit your venue would give you if you decided to take care of the centerpieces on your own. (One place we looked said the centerpieces they provide from a specific florist were valued at $15 a table. We could go with that florist and get what was provided, upgrade to get more, or do our own and the venue would give us the money back. )

So it's worth looking into. Meet with the florist. Hope it goes well! But also find out from the venue if you are required to use the florist. Or can you go somewhere else. Some places, will allow you to go elsewhere, but you still have to pay as if you used their people. (meaning they won't drop the price if you go elsewhere)

But definitly look into what your options are. Remember, the bouquets end up in most of the pictures!

    Good luck!

My sister used them for her bouquets, but not for centerpieces since hers were included through someone else.  They did a nice job, but we were disappointed because when we sat down to order everything the woman made it sound like the colors of pink for the different flowers would be very different, which we wanted.  Almost all of the pink flowers were the same shade.  That was the only complaint though!
