Wedding Invitations & Paper

Walmart invites

i know it sounds horrible...but they are cute!!! Anyone have thought or comments?! They aren't top of the line but they're about the same thickness as American wedding invites. For 250 guests it would only be $100!!!!!!!!

Re: Walmart invites

  • I actually saw some cute invites and thank you notes in the card section. If it'll save you money, but them.

I think we're going to get thank you cards from there since they're pretty and I think they were only $8 a box, and I want to say there were probably 50 in the box.

Why not? I bought mine from Michaels.

ETA: I know people do it all the time and to each their own, but professional invitations are SOOO expensive that I just couldn't bring myself to spend $300-$400 or more on invitations.
  • I talked with a friend of mine...and she used a company in Peterborough....she got her entire set done for $180 professionally.  You just need to shop around.  Especially if you are having a theme...  My theme is nature, outdoorsy...I think i may try that company first and then try wal-mart!  The wal-mart ones are pretty basic aren't they?
  • They can be basic, but I think I saw some more elaborate ones on the walmart website.
