programs-- yay or nay?

I'm having a short ceremony, outside at our venue. It's about 15mins. I'm not doing programs. Anyone else not doing programs??

We're doing programs!

I definitely don't think it's a necessity, but I've always enjoyed having them. I'm actually working on ours right now.

We're not doing them. Not much point with our group. I really don't know what I'd put in them cause our wedding is so small and our wedding party is all family.

We're doing programs. I like seeing my name in print; I don't think I'm the only one

Plus it's nice that guests know who is in the ceremony, as both sides have never met.

We aren't doing programs either. Our wedding is about maybe 10 minutes long and 22 people which are moms, dad,s grammas, grandpa's, sisters and their spouses.

Edit: we are not having a wedding party either, so this was an easy decision

We are doing programs. Our ceremony will be on the shorter side but we liked saying who is who, giving our thanks to our family and friends, and I have always enjoyed having wedding programs. We did however, keep them every simple.

Same thing! Ours is short and outdoors.. No programs!
It was a waster of paper and money to me.

I still haven't decided. It's more or less one of those things that'll happen if I can find the time. Even though our ceremony will only be about 20-25 minutes long, I've always enjoyed having a "map" to know what comes next at events.

I'm not. We're having a simple ceremony and our WP will be introduced at the reception so there is really no need IMO.

We considered doing one, but decided to nix it. Our ceremony is short and sweet. Nothing really unique or out of the ordinary. Personally, I never quite understood the need for them.

Saved the money on programs by nixing them and buying booze... Our guest will be happier about that.
I think it would be handy if we were getting married outside...you know, maybe printed on a fan. But we're having everything indoors.
