Alright ladies.. I'm down to 3 places that I really like, each has pros and cons.. I think in terms of cost, they will be similar. We want to stay in the Duck/Corolla area.. The choices are Sanderling, Jeanette's Pier and the Whalehead Club. Any ladies with weddings coming up there? Thoughts?!

    Jeanette's Pier hands down.  It's brand new and what could be better than having your reception overlooking the ocean.....beauitful :)

    But that is at MP 15.....

    It looks like it will come down to what is most important.  The distance from Corolla to Jeanette's Pier may be kind of far---but if you stay in Duck, you have cut 20 miles off of that trip.  I did not get a chance to visit The Sanderling but the pictures look beautiful--Whalehead Club was one of my choices, but I did not want to have to build my entire wedding from the ground up--but the scenery is breathtaking---when going through your pros and cons--decide what you and FI want most, then factor in your guests.

    I would recommend Jeanette's Pier. It's newly opened and I saw it in person this weekend. It is absolutely beautiful. The building is beautiful, the location overlooking the ocean is amazing, you cannot go wrong in my opinion.

    I have heard from my vendors that the Sanderling is so-so and overpriced. The Whalehead club is nice too, I haven't heard anything negative.
