  To me, the drop waist is part of the appeal. And while it might look okay brought up, bringing a dress up from the waist is one of the most expensive alterations you can do.

  
  

  Maybe you should consider a different gown with some of the same design elements, but with the waistline where you want it?

  i really like the top and the skirt is so different but the middle is def a little weird

  The rest of the dress is lovely, but if you don't like the waist, I'd recommending finding one with a waist and shape that you like and look good on you and worry about the smaller details next.
