Place to buy flowers?

My daughter's wedding will have a medieval flavor to it, so she wants the flowers to look like "we just went outside and picked them".  We are thinking of incorporating wildflowers into the design and hand-tying the bouquets.

Can anyone suggest some places in the KC area where we could buy just the flowers without paying for designing bouquets/centerpieces?  Does KC have a flower market?

Thanks for any suggestions :)

KC does not have a flower market. It does have several wholesale floral warehouses, which generally do not sell to the public but can be talked into making exceptions. If you google kansas city wholesale florist, you will find them and their addresses. If your daughter's wedding is in the summer or early fall, you can get flowers at the City Market on Saturday mornings. There are also vendors there who will let you come to their gardens during the week and have your flowers custom-cut. But, you do have to go down to the market in advance and make arrangements with them to do this. Best wishes!

I can't think of a place you can go buy flowers but I know people that have gotten flowers from Sam's/CostCo and you could look into a lady named Floralynn.  She is on the knot.  She is very reasonably priced.  My friend got her centerpieces and all bridal flowers for under $1000.
