Perez Photography

I visited with them last night and LOVED their work. Their personalities rock. I really want to hire them but their lowest packaged is $3500 and we were hoping to spend around $2000 for our photographer for a Friday wedding.

Can anyone recommend any other photographers with the sane style as Perez but a little more around our budget?

By the way if you are considering hiring them I would highly suggest you go meet with them in person and check out the additional photos that aren't on their website or blog. They really do awesome work.

    I know that Donnaires used them and she really liked them.  (she's not around anymore though!)

    I LOVE Perez!  They were unavailable on my date though. 

    Did you try McGowan Images?  I am not sure I would really say they are the same style as Perez but I do love them.  I love SixFourteen also.  Those would be my suggestions.

    I tried SIxfourteen and he was already booked on my day. McGowan didn't have enough of the edgy/ editorial look I am going for. Maybe I can give up something else like the wedding cake so I can afford Perez. (jk)

    They are worth it!  :)  Yeah, I agree that McGowan is a different style.  Unfortunately, most photographers with Perez' style are also in that same pricepoint.  I'll see if I can think of some others.

    I have a consult with Kaitlynn Marie Photography later today, she'd be in your price range and I think her style bends more towards what you're looking for. :) I've heard one person on the board and someone I know talk about her, the girl on the board was raving about her, haha. I'll let you know how the consult goes!

    Oh, thought of one!  My second choice (duh!) Hillary Anne Photography.  That is who N&M is using also.

    Perez does beautiful pictures!  After I get past that thought, my next thought when looking through their portfolio is "oh god, I hope I don't cry on my wedding day!"  Tongue out  I am such an ugly crier...

    Celina Gomez is similar to Perez and she's priced a little lower. I've also heard that Modern Image Photography has a similar style (the photog here used to work with Celina).

    I  know this all too well!  Usually I get some sort of acknowledgement like "uh huh, I'll try, sure" followed by his internal thoughts of, "all right, crazy lady........."

    Haha I'm right there with you!!!!  He just bought a bag of Jolly Ranchers a few days ago and decided to lay in bed with me and watch a movie on our laptop while eating Jolly Ranchers.  Within 10 seconds, I there was a new rule of no Jolly Ranchers in the bedroom.  I HATE the sound of people chewing or sucking on stuff.  Grrr!! LOL
