Re: perfect dress need help finding orginal

  • It's a Mon Cheri Bridal, style "Contessa" , style 29246.  It appears that it might be from a previous year's collection and might not be available anymore.

However, this is a really popular style, and I'm sure you can find something really similar, if you can't find the exact same dress.  I'd caution you against ordering anything without trying it on first -- a lot of brides find that they don't really like the dress that they had their heart set on based on pictures on the internet.

  • If you can't find the Mon Cheri one, David's Bridal carries 2 that are very similar.

Yeah, but if you didn't try it on, you'd never really know.  Many people envision a dress as "just perfect!" and then they try it on and it's so-so.  And for others, they are finally convinced to try on a dress that they hate on a hanger, put it on and love it!  You really don't know until you try it on.
  • Allure also has a LOT of lace dresses.
