  I did ours on zazzle-- I just waited until there was a surprise 5-hour 20% off sale (often on Fridays), and I was able to do postage for about 100 invitations for about $125.  Our invitations were heavy because of all the inserts and the pocketfold-- yours might weigh less so you might get more mileage out of your sheets than I did.  They basically charge per sheet, and not really per the actual postage.  I needed 6 sheets, you might need fewer for the same number of envelopes.  Also, we had about 40% international addresses and that required additional postage, so again, yours might require less if you have mostly domestic addresses.
  
  Aslo, if you pick the slowest shipping method, it's only $2.99.
  
  Were they necessary? No.  Did they look great?  Absolutely!  I can show you a picture of them later, if you want.

  I don't know of any alternatives to zazzle (sorry), but I'll say I just discovered all of the NOLA print postage stamps on there and they are so great! I just added them to my list of unnecessary expenditures that will get shoved into the budget somehow. I hope yours turn out well! I think they make a really nice touch.
