Unity Ribbon Tying with silk ribbon and his army boot laces??

Hello!!

Since, we want to do a ribbon tying ceremony.. I was thinking to make it more personal and have our own meaning/ twist to it.. was to braid his army boot laces and some silk ribbon together. That way when he is gone on deployments and such we can frame the ribbon & boot laces cord to remind me of the meaning of our marriage and such and keep my spirits up.

What do you guys think???

    I think it sounds cute! I'm not exactly sure what a Unity Ribbon tying ceremony is, but that's nothing that google won't fix!!  Off to google this, and TOJ... what?! I'm so off on my wedding trends...
