Rehersal Dinner Location - HELP!

I am an OOT bride planning my wedding in the Columbus area.  My ceremony is in Dublin and most guests will be staying in that area.  Does anyone have any suggestions on where we could have our rehersal dinner?  We will probably have close to 50 people with our families.  I would like to have italian food or possibly rent out a space or even wine bar that I could bring in our own caterer.  That is just my initial thought but I am open to any suggestions!  Please help!

La Scala. I've never been there, but I've heard great things. It's Italian, and in Dublin :-)

I will second La Scala!  It's tasty Italian food, and they have two different private rooms that you can book.  I have never been for a RD, but I have heard their banquet packages are really reasonable.

Also, I have never been the Salvi's Bistro, but it is supposed to be really good and sounds like they have a space you can rent out for a RD http://www.salvisbistro.com/services-special-events.html

We're having our's at La Scala.  I'm excited.  FI's parents booked one of the private rooms I believe.  They're really excited about it too

Definitely La Scala!  They have the best lasagna!  My FI and I had our first date  there so we are big fans.

La Scala is a good choice for sure, they have great food and a great atmosphere!  I don't think their prices are all that bad either!

Wow, I didn't know that. It must be a sign of the times. BIL loved that place.

La Scala is definitely a consideration and was somewhere we were already considering.  I just wanted to see if there were any other places we could rent that we could bring in catered food.  Does anyone know of a place like that?

    La Scala,

Bravo on Bethel (Between Sawmill and Riverside Drive), http://www.bravoitalian.com/location.html?id=316

    Mary Kelley's has 2 private rooms. http://www.marykelleys.com/

There is a new Savli's at the SW corner of 161 and Frantz Rd which is just east of 270. http://www.salvisbistro.com/

If you don't want alchohol at the dinner, you might consider the Masonic Temple in Linworth.  Linworth is East of Sawmill on 161 but before you get to 161. There Masonic Temple is one story, easy access and very nice. It sits on the North side of the road between a red brick Lutheran church and an old white frame church that is a bookstore.  Although, you might check the Dublin Rec Center. It's possible they would allow wine and/or beer.

There are also several country clubs but they may be pricey - Muirfield Village Golf Club Country Club at Muifield Village, Riviera, Brookside (this is between Sawmill and Linworth on 161), Tartan Fields

I don't know if Montgomery Inn has private rooms or not: http://www.montgomeryinn.com/columbus-montgomery-inn.php

Oscar's (downtown Dublin) has a private room for 30 http://www.hdrestaurants.com/oscars_dublin/wine_room.htm

    Matt The Miller's Tavern http://www.mtmtavern.com/parties-catering.php

    Hyde Park http://www.hydeparkrestaurants.com/maps/hp-dublin/index.htm

All of these would have good food and be close to Dublin (some are right downtown, some a 10 -15 minute drive).

Montgomery Inn does have a private room.  Good choice and excellent food.  It's more of an upscale rib place.

Montgomery Inn is absolutely amazing! I lived in Cincinnati for a few years and became obsessed. They have amazing food!

We are having our rehearsal dinner at Montgomery Inn in the Buckeye Room.  It is a really nice set up with a long tuscan style table and a wall of windows.  Can't wait!

I work at Heritage Golf Club and we host a lot of rehearsal dinners. The menus are available online at www.heritagegc.com. There is a great view of the golf course!
