Mom Memorial

My mom passed away a few years ago and I would like to somehow show her memory at the wedding.  I have seen candles at the guest book, has anyone done/seen anything else?  It has been hard planning everything without her and I don't want this day to be a sad day but I still want her there somehow.

    I completey know how you feel.  My mom passed away about 6 years ago and as much fun as planning a wedding is, it's also really sad without her.  I used a seller on etsy and had memorial bouquet charms made for my sisters and I to carry with our flowers.  It's a picture of my mom on her wedding day on one side and a quote on the other.  The seller is EnchantedGlass

    FI and I are in the same position...I lost my dad 2 years ago, and he lost him mom 1 year ago. FIs dad is an artist (his work is truly amazing) and we will be choosing two pictures for him to make into portraits. We are going to have these at the ceremony where we will light a candle in their memory, and then I want the portraits brought into the reception along with the candle so it can continue to be lit for the rest of the reception. I am also having a piece of my dad's clothing sewn into my dress in the shape of a heart, and having it placed near my heart.

    We are having a floral arrangement with a small sign saying " in memory of loved ones who are not with us today" or something like that, and a small blurb in the program. Also did the charm for my grandpa. It came out cute!

    were in a similiar situation just with grandparents but not sure what to do any ideas on that aspect i have 4 grandparents no longer here and fiance has his grandfather no longer here but we want to honor them as indiviuals

    My dad passes away a few years ago. It's going to be soo hard to walk down the aisle without him. I'm doing the same thing as the first post. Only I didn't order the frame. I just went to michaels and bought a small frame and I am going to pin it to my bouquet. So much cheaper. Plus I'm thinking of doing a memorial vase with red white and blue flowers because my dad was a marine.

    For my sisters wedding she had a digital photo frame with pictures of her and our grandparents who passed away. Family members really enjoyed seeing all the pictures. She also incorporated a locket with their wedding photos into her boquet. I will be doing the same.
