Cheap videographer?

I didn't think I wanted a videographer, but now I'm reconsidering it.
Does anyone have any cheap recommendations? This wasn't in our original budget, just a nice extra we're considering, so the cheaper the better.
Thanks!

I'm using Jeff at Shoot The Bride Films. He was running a special at the time for $500 for the entire day and has thrown in a lot of extras for us but I think it was for a certain number of brides or time.

Another knottie (Shadia) is using Jeff as well and we've both been really happy so far.

One of my friends is just getting into the business, after several years of doing ametuer videos for different contests, etc.  Since he's really new in the business, he'll be cheaper.  He has done a couple weddings, and from what I've heard he's pretty good.  He will be doing our wedding.

His email is angler.digital@gmail.com and his name is Dave.

Video was one thing we really wanted. I don't know how cheap your looking, but our videographer has all sorts of packages and they may work with you, if you are on a budget. Their website is http://www.midwestvideoproductions.com/

We did look around at different video places and seen all sorts of prices, but what we also seen was the ones who were very cheap, their videos we're not that good. It all depends what quality you want.

My Father pasted away a few years ago, an I want to have my mother captured on my wedding day. This was important for me

Like ladybug, I'm using Jeff of Shoot the Bride Films.
Not sure if his pricing went up or not, but I was able to get the same deal as ladybug.
He's very laid back and seems like he will be really easy to work with. I have no doubt that Jeff is just as talented as the more established videographers out there. He also was a PA for Batman Begins, which my FI was super excited about.

Adrian from Logi Productions.  Since we went with Life on Prints for photgraphy, we knew we didn't want to spend to much for videography.  A few knotties recommended him before and so far he has been great to work with.  Also, I know that there were some misconceptions that you have to pay everything up front, but we found out that there ARE payment plans.  Good luck!

I'm not sure what his pricing is, but we went with Orange Video Productions.  He was a lot cheaper than a few others we looked at.

Im using Encore Video Productions.  The owner is the girlfriend of my fiance's best friend.  The website is encorevideoproductions.tv
We are using the A La Carte package.  I think it starts at 795 or 895?

A videographer was a last-minute addition for us, too.  After checking out some review posts here we decided to go with Go Wedding Video.

Luke has been great to work with so far and the cost was just over $1K.  Pricing and video samples are on their website - www.goweddingvideo.com

    Good Luck!!

I also just noticed that they are the "2010 Brides Choice Awards Winner" from Wedding Wire and Martha Stewart Weddings).
