I booked my location! October 20th, 2012!!!

Yesterday we booked our location! We are getting married and having our reception at Locust Grove in Poughkeepsie! I was a little worried about having to get in a caterer but I'm sure it will all work out. On the flip side I was also totally excited that I can really have a hand in the food.  With other wedding venues it seemed like I would have no choice about the food.  I love that with a caterer I can customize my menu :)

    Congratulations! I was also at Locust Grove yesterday! We are 90% sure we will be there for our April wedding too! It really is a great place.

    How many guests are you having? Are you planning on an outdoor ceremony?

    I was there yesterday too! I wonder if we saw each other :) I did see another couple walking around. Did you see the wedding that showed up...it totally sold me on the place!

    We are planning on an outdoor wedding. If it doesn't work out I'm happy that they have the other indoor room. I'm hoping to have around 120 ppl at the wedding. I have heard that will the full 150 it can be a bit tight.

    i was there for a wedding expo last thursday. its like 10 min from my home and i was suprised on how nice it is inside. congrats and happy wedding planning!
