XP- Might be a silly (tshirt) question

So i'm  making tshirts for my BM with the "bridesmaid" rhinestone iron on.  BUT, i want to cut the collars off so they are off the shoulder, and easy to take off since they will be wearing them while we get ready.
Problem is... does anyone have a trick of how much of the tshirt to cut off beside trial and error? lol

seems silly, but you girls seem so crafty I feel like someone might have a trick. TIA

All I can picture is the Flashdance off-the-shoulder look! Haha. Seriously, though, I was in a WP where we had T-shirts and we just cut them off after hair/makeup. It's not like we were going to wear them again, you know? It was pretty much just for pictures. Or, depending on when your wedding is, could you do tank tops instead?

Well I am glad that all those "80s" parties in college have finally been worthwhile!!!!

We used to cut all our shirts back in college to do the off the shoulder, because it was "in style" for about 3 seconds about 5 years ago...

First cut the neck off (usually its ribbed)... then mark about 1 1/2 in onto the shoulder on the left and right side. Take the ruler down....mark a middle point, and cut in a half circular motion...

try it on, if you want it to show more --- or fall lower on the shoulder-- cut another inch-- and so on and so forth.. once you have one, just measure what you cut and do the rest.
