Hi Again!!
Ok, so here is what I LOVED about our day:
-Aaron's vows were INCREDIBLE. Everyone at our reception said they cried and thought we both did an awesome job writing our own. I would highly recommend this!!
-I cried all the way down the aisle but Aaron was too so I couldn't help it
-I thought the flower girls and wedding party looked gorgeous and am so glad we went with orange gray and blue!!
-We loved our officiant. He cried the entire ceremony but kept it together and still spoke loudly and with grace.
-I loved the way the barn looked for the day. People complimented us on how "different and unique" it was.
-I am glad I bought coloring books and crayons for the little ones to keep occupied.
-We had PLENTY of food which I was very happy about and it was delicious.
-Our catering staff (buffet attendant and bartender) were so nice and accommodating. They brought Aaron and I drinks and snacks while we took pictures which I highly recommend...after the ceremony was over all I wanted was a drink!
-I don't regret splurging on a limo, I think we got some great pictures and it felt very luxurious!
-Our DJ was INCREDIBLE. He checked in with Aaron and I every so often to ask us if we needed anything and to check in about the timeline since our ceremony started 15 minutes late and everything got pushed back. He even let my dad and Aaron's mom know when their dances were coming up. He got on the dance floor and did the cupid shuffle with us!
-We formed two lines on the dance floor where everyone got a chance to dance down the line.SO MUCH FUN.
- I think besides taking pictures and eating I danced the ENTIRE time which was fabulous.
-We got such amazing generous gifts. We now have a down payment on a home!!
-I loved our first dance to "Somewhere over the rainbow" by Israel Kamakawiwoe. It was so special and fit the day perfectly. We had perfect weather, too!!
-My mom danced her butt off as well as my 16 month old niece who was the center of attention on the dance floor.
It was such a beautiful day and I love being married to my best friend. I thought we would come home from the honeymoon and say "ok, I gotta go hang out with someone else" and it is NOT like that at all. We are still joint at the hip even moreso now and I feel much closer to him which I didn't think was possible. It is so fun being married and telling people our honeymoon stories and reminiscing about the wedding day. I am so happy!! Thanks girls for all of your advice!!
