I went dress shopping last week with my mom and FMIL and found my dress!  It's beautiful, simple but with a few details that I love.  Everyone who has seen the pics has said "Oh, that's perfect for you!"

It's driving FI nuts that he can't see it - he knew I had pictures on my phone since he caught me showing my dad (I really tried to show everyone when FI was out of the room...).  The rest of the weekend he kept proving that he could find my phone and look at the pics if he wanted.  Did it really bother anyone else's FI when you got your dress and he couldn't see it?

    I showed FI my dress, lol. I couldn't keep it a secret and he was dying to see it. We aren't superstious so I didn't feel too bad about showing him.

    CONGRATS!! We want pictures!!

    no.  it's hanging in a garment bag in the office, he could peek there or in my phone anytime.  it doesn't bother him at all, he's excited to see it!

    My fiance doesn't want to see it, he wants to be surprised so it doesn't bother him if I show people the dress while he's around.

    Show us pictures of the dress!

    congrats on getting the dress! that was my favorite part of the planning! hehe

    FI wanted to see it... but i wanted to surprise him. one day he was looking at photos on my phone and found me in 4 different dresses.... he was like "oops, am i not supposed to see these?" i said he didn't know which one i picked so its okay... he then pointed out his "favorite" which is the dress i picked! haha. He hasn't seen me in my actual dress (the sample was in ivory... and mine is in white) and still doesn't know which dress it was... so its still fun! hehe.

    It seems just to bother him that others can see it and he can't - he doesn't want to see it ahead of time, he just doesn't want it "rubbed in his face" that he can't see it.  I put pics in my signature - it was kind of a trick figuring out how to make them so they weren't giant!

    My husband wanted to see it but also wanted to be surprised.  He saw a picture but has no imagination.  When he saw it on me, he said he was glad he waited to see it because the first glance brought tears to his eyes.

    DH wanted to see it but wanted to be surprised. I actually didn't show anybody but my Mom, Dad, and MOH my dress before the big day, so it was a pretty big surprise to everyone.

    FI doesn't want to see it at all. I accidently slipped and made some comment about an aspect of my dress and he freaked out about it! Now he goes around insisting to everyone that I'm trying to tell him what my dress looks like.

    It's so pretty!!! FI doesn't want to see the dress at all, and I really want to surprise him with it. All he knows is that its ivory and not strapless. The rest is a surprise :)

    Soo pretty! Congrats on finding it!!

    FI doesn't want to see my dress at all before the ceremony. We're not even doing a first look because he feels so strongly about it.
