Wedding Photographer Help

I have emailed around 50 wedding photographers and am having no luck. Our budget is $2000 for photography...we are having a small, 100 person wedding. I would love a natural light photographer...we are looking for a minimum of 8 hours and of course images on cd with all printing rights. (An engagment session would be nice also, but I'm not that picky) I am located in East texas, and my wedding will be there also, so if you ladies have any suggestions at all...I'm all ears!!

Evan is pretty popular as an inexpensive option so he may already be booked. Adam does photography as a side hobby so I'm not sure if he travels. But they both have great work!

MaddiePie is a name that is mentioned quite often on this board, is respected, and does great, quality work. I cannot say that I recommend Evan Godwin after numerous negative experiences several brides on this board have had with him.

I think most people here would recommend you stay away from Evan. Multiple people here have had problems with him espically relating to his contract.

Evan is fine as long as you don't try to back out of the contract. He gets pretty nasty if you change your mind.

I am using Stephanie Brazzle and our package was a few hundred under $2000 AND included bridals, engagements, and wedding day (including a second shooter). We haven't done any of our sessions yet but she seems great so far and is really sweet.

This is my first time posting here (lurker- not engaged yet!) but I can second Stephanie Brazzle! I have already made an arrangement with her in the month we are thinking about tying the knot, and she is AMAZING to work with. She also did my friend's engagement and wedding, and the pictures are amazing. For what she gives you, her prices are a steal.

I may be mistaken but I thought that the girls who decided to back out with him did so because he never really sent them a contract.

Hey Casey, sorry this is a little late. The price that we got was for 6 hours day-of. I do know that she was going to raise her prices in February or March though (can't remember)...so maybe that's why? Or maybe you're wanting more than we got?
