I attended a wedding last week that used them and we LOVED them!

The couple didn't do a cheese or fruit display.  They only had passed hors'dourves.  Which consisted of:  peanut chicken skewers, crab cakes, scallops wrapped in bacon, chicken crostini, roasted tomato puff pastries, spring rolls and one or two others that I cant think of.

The salad was amazing.  Mixed greens with dried cranberries, some sort of sweet creamy cheese, nuts and an excellent dressing.

They had all sorts of bread and butter baskets at each table.

For dinner there was:  roasted vegetables and potatoes, butternut squash ravioli, chicken picatta and stuffed sole.

For desert to go along with the cake was a bunch of different berries and home made whipped cream.

    Hope that helps!

I just got married at Cruiseport 3 weeks ago and it was AMAZING.  Everything from food to venue was fantastic and you will be so happy with Cruiseport.  As far as Vinwood in particular they were great.  We sat down with someone from Vinwood about a month prior to the wedding to go over some specifics and they are very accomodating.  For cocktail hour we had 3 stationary hors d'ourves:  We combined the antipasto/fruit board, sushi station, and raw bar.  We had the cocktail hour half inside half outside and the raw bar was displayed outside and everyone loved it!  For passed hor d'ourves we had clam chowder shooters, crab cakes, beef skewers, chicken skewers, (I can't even remember!), but all was thoroughly enjoyed.  For dinner we had seated dinner with 2 options: Filet with Lobster Tail and twice baked potatoe with asparagus as well as Sea Bass with mushroom risotto and snap peas.  Everything was cooked perfectly and we have heard nothing but rave reviews from all guests for the past few weeks!  You are going to love everything with Cruiseport.  Let me know if you have any other questions!

We attended a wedding at Cruiseport and thought the food was great. My only complaint was it wasn't a seated meal, it was stations. It was a little awkward with a large crowd. The couple had a mashed potato bar during cocktail hour which was very cool!

I attended a wedding a few years ago at Cruiseport and they used Vinwood.  Everyone is still talking about how delicious the food was!  They had stations, and I loved it!  Everything was cooked fresh in front of you and tasted great.  I don't remember the specifics, but I have no complaints (and I usually do when it comes to wedding food)!  :)

I worked for Vinwood for years (in college - both as a server and in the kitchen), and they're top-notch all the way around.  I can't speak highly enough of Tom and Rick (the owners).

I'm also getting married at Cruiseport-- Just asking for your opinions of having attended and also planning-- did you guys do a plated dessert? Or did you do a stationed one? (for the cake). Also--did you order a cake for all of your guests? Or like 80%? Some cake decorators are saying to only order for 80%, that it will save money. true? not true?
